About Me.
Hi! I'm Lore.
Mum of Hector, partner of Michael, daughter, friend, colleague, mood sensor and 'growth engine'. I get energy from every progress and every small step I see others take. I support others in their development with heart and soul.
I chose to continue that path in my job. I obtained a master's degree in sexology and complemented this with a postgraduate degree in family and social mediation. I work as a confidential counsellor/welfare officer at Ghent University, where I mainly deal with themes such as sexuality, transgressive behaviour, stress and conflict.
Since 2023, I have been combining my job at Ghent University with a job as a clinical sexologist. It is my passion to create a safe framework from which people can speak openly. My focus includes sexuality before, during and after pregnancy, sexual pain problems and relational concerns where dealing with conflicts and communication within the couple are central.
In addition to these courses, I regularly attend training courses to update myself on certain topics.

SERVICES
You can contact me with various sexual and relationship concerns or questions about this. Below you will find an overview of possible requests for help from individuals or couples. During the intake we get to know each other and discuss your concerns and expectations. At the end of the conversation, we decide together whether to start a trajectory and how often it is most appropriate to have these conversations. Short-term guidance of (on average) two to ten sessions is often sufficient. Please feel free to contact me if any questions about the services or my working method.

Practical
An appointment will take place at multidisciplinary practice Qinobi (Réginald Warnefordstraat 112, 9040 Sint-Amandsberg) and can be scheduled via the button below.
You will be taken directly to the agenda.
Prices

An individual consultation lasts 50 minutes. The cost for an individual consultation is €75. For a couple consultation of 60 minutes it is €90.
Payment is preferred via QR code.
Refund

Some health insurance funds provide a refund for clinical sexologists. Specifically, this is provided by the CM, LM, Solidaris, Neutral Health Insurance Fund Flanders and Flemish & Neutral Health Insurance Fund. It is definitely worth making an enquiry if you are a member of one of these mutualities. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and we will look into this together.

Cancellation
A consultation can be cancelled by phone or email. Please do so well in advance. If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours prior to the consultation, the appointment will be charged.
